Our Story
Lucy Abad's parents started Ritchie's as a family deli in 2006. From the very beginning, the family found something special in Amenia: a town where strangers share a table and end up as friends. Some folks even call it "Cheers."
In 2018 Lucy took over from her parents. She kept the menu just the way folks loved it, including the deli's famous Cowboy sandwich.
Twenty years in, the best part is the people. Kids Lucy watched grow up are now getting married, starting careers, and coming back in with babies of their own. In her words, "It's an honor, to be honest." (The Millerton News)
